Karaoke Venue 2023
Starting in April Heats for this Karaoke contest will commence at various pub venues around the Suffolk area where you can enter this fantastic contest and stand a chance to win the Grand Final Prize of £1,000 cash. The contest is open to everybody over the age of 18years and is open to solo or duo singers. Entry cost just £5 on the night and all money raised will go to our charity The Operation Santa Appeal. Judges for the heats will be supplied by the pubs themselves and the winners will go through to monthly quarter finals leading to semi finals whereby 10 lucky winners will go through to the Grand Final on the 29th September 2023 being held this year at the prestigious Venue 16 and be in with the chance of winning that Grand Final Prize of £1,000 cash which is being donated by Cabs Smart.
The format for the Grand Final this year has been changed slightly, there will be 10 singers who will all sing one song the guest judges on the night will then select 3 of those singers to go through to a “Sing Off” the Judges will then select their choice of an overall winner BUT, the audience will also get a chance to have their vote on the night and the votes will be added together with the Judges to get the overall winner of that £1,000 cash.
Venue16 is a great venue for our contest this year and we thank them for allowing us to use this fantastic venue set in over 20 acres. The contest will be held in their Willow Suite which is fantastically equipped to cater for this contest. Together with a fantastic sound and lightening system, table seating this will be a great evening. There will also be Street Food available to purchase on the evening. Tickets for the Grand Final are just £15 per head and discounts will be given for group bookings of 10 or 12 persons sharing the same table. Remember that all money raised goes directly to the Operation Santa Appeal all expenses for this contest will be paid for by our sponsor Cabs Smart and the final Judges are giving up their time free of charge.
