The awards were presented by MP Tom Hunt & The Worshipful the Mayor of Ipswich Cllr Lynne Mortimer.

OSA had 15 grant applications and out of the 15 received OSA managed to give cheques to 13 of them and they were as follows:-

All cheques were presented on the evening by  MP Tom Hunt & The Worshipful the Mayor of Ipswich Cllr Lynne Mortimer., Hari & Shirley (Directors of Cabs Smart) and Amanda Brow & Christine Sabatini from GenX Radio Suffolk

Our first Award & Cheque presentation was a brilliant night and we thank every one of the 150 people who turned out in their finery to support the evening. Our thanks also to our Entertainment for the evening who gave up their time FOC to support the OSA. Live music from the fantastic Robbie Gladwell and his band members plus the ever-popular Steve Springett our thanks also to Jamie and his crew at Venue 16 for the fabulous food and attention to detail in ensuring the Venue was just right for the evening, not forgetting our “Little” man in the cupboard “Jon” who did a fantastic job with the background music and slides. Below you will see a few photos taken in the evening.

For those who were not there on the evening money raised was as follows:-
From the live on-air auction and some donations from people who held events for us the total was £7996.00 a very kind cash donation from Paulo Sousa of the Nomad Hippo Garage of £500 and from Cabs Smart a very generous donation of £5239.00 giving us a grand total of £13,735.00 which was awarded to all the above charities.
