Grant Application Form

Please use this form to begin your application for a grant, whether you are a new applicant or have applied to us before. If you have a disability that makes it difficult to complete this online form, you can click here to download this form and send it to us. Our address is OSA, 8-10 Falcon Street, Ipswich IP1 1SL.

Before submitting your application, please ensure you have read the guidelines below.

The requested amount applied for cannot be altered at a later date. Because OSA is still in its infancy, we suggest not requesting anything more than £3,000 and, if possible, giving a range (for example, £500 to £1,000 or £1,000 to £1,500). This will allow OSA to support more charities requesting funds.

Carefully describe why your charity is requesting a grant accurately, as this section cannot be altered later. Additionally, be concise when describing the purpose of the grant, as there is a word limit of 150 words.

What We Fund
Operation Santa funds only Suffolk-based registered charities for either an ongoing project or a new project. Grants are awarded in January/February of the year following the fundraising year. Applying for a grant does not guarantee an award of the grant requested, and the final decision will depend on the amount of money raised and the decision of the Trustees.

Grants may not be awarded in full as this is wholly dependent on the amount of money raised. Once the decision has been made, you will be notified by email. Cheques will be awarded at a “Cheque” giving ceremony in January or February, which you will be expected to attend to receive the grant cheque. We kindly ask that if you are awarded a grant, you acknowledge receipt by way of a letter or certificate for our records, which may be used in future promotions and submitted to the Charity Commissioner for proof of the award.

Grants Are Now Closed Until June 2025
